Tabernacle Youth Ministry

Greetings in the precious name of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. We thank God for all he has done in our Youth Dept. As we continue to seek God, we are expecting to see a wonderful move of the Holy Spirit in our midst among our youth.

That is, saved, Holy Ghost filled young people, knowing the Lord Jesus and the power of prayer in their lives. The majority of our children come from families who attend our church, but we are also blessed to have a small number from unsaved families, which is encouraging.

We have been encouraging our youth of all ages to actively participate in our services; exhorting, moderating and to develop their prayer life through one to one prayer sessions with their chosen adult prayer partner. We also have youth counsellors whom the youth can approach in confidence with anything they wish to discuss.

Once a month the young people invite their friends to come along for a social evening to experience how to enjoy themselves together in Christ through various indoor and outdoor activities e.g. ice skating, bowling, seaside trips, visits to local parks and generally getting to know each other.
